Family Green is the type of Tea I imagine I would make if I were a homesteader in China and had tea trees in my garden. It has such a pleasant, nutty taste and just feels as homey as it gets. This tea hails from Southern China in Guangdong province and at the farm they refer to it as their "family green," hence the name.
This is a sturdier green tea that is great for warm days and cool mornings. The energy is lightly activating and continues to vitalize you after your tea sit. It can be brewed in a teapot, in leaves in a bowl and is even a wonderful candidate for cold brewing or making a sun tea!
